Hilton Head Island in South Carolina is one of the best places in the US to vacation. In fact, it has many world class resorts dotted all over the island. One of them is the famous Westin Resort which is the home of The Barony Grill which is AAA four-diamond restaurant. There is also the Sea Pines Resort which hosts the annual PGS Tours MCI Heritage Classic. However, one of my favorite resorts is the  Disney Hilton Head Resort, which is one of their Disney Vacation Club properties. Of course, we’re still talking about Hilton Head here, so let’s take a look at what else Hilton Head Island has to offer to the vacationer.

What to find at Hilton Head Island

This resort offer a variety of activities which includes golf, and world class tennis which is located along with miles of beautiful beaches. Shipyard is apparently a renowned place for tennis and golf. However, it is not limited to sports alone but also offers families affordable vacation experiences and is conveniently located close to Coligny Plaza, North Forest Beach and Wexford Village. Within these locations, fine dining and great shopping boutiques are handy.

This can be found at the center of the island’s seashore. Amenities offered are fine restaurants, shopping area and most of all, night life. Like at Shipyard, golf here is also fantastic at the same time challenging but still social in nature. Palmetto Dunes includes an 11 mile lagoon system perfect for those who love the water. You can rent a kayak and paddle yourself away and get the chance to observe the many beautiful homes on Hilton Head Island.

This resort is best for romantic getaways. It offers variety of romantic setting suitable for weddings and even engagements.

Amongst the resorts included, Sea Pines is considered by visitors to offer the best of everything. There is a mile for bike riding, golf, spas, shopping area, sandy beaches, even fishing charters and dolphin cruises. If you want to make the most of your holiday, this is the place for you. You don’t need to go too far to experiences everything.
