Things to do in Malaga with the kids

There are many places to visit around Europe, from Ilfracombe holiday parks, to the peaks in Scotland, let’s have a look at Malaga, Spain. Malaga is situated in the Andalucian region of Spain is known for its beautiful weather, great food and a lot of partying! Malaga has a great family atmosphere, so grab your pushchairs and let’s see what else Malaga has on offer.

Crocodile hunting

Hunting for crocodiles? Sounds like fun! If you’re brave enough the Malaga Crocodile Park has around 300 prehistoric crocs from 12 different species. There will be guided tours and a opportunity to see baby crocodiles, this is all included within the entry price. The park is normally open from March to September form 10am – 6pm. So if you’re looking for something different to do then this would be great!

Museums

The City of Museums! This is what Malaga is renowned for, with over 20 museums around the town and around 15 grouped together within the same area, this makes the town a great historical site for voyagers and with different museums such as, Religious Art Museum, Dolls house museum, Interactive Science museum are to name but a few.

Waterpark

Spain is known for its beautiful hot weather so taking some time out to cool down in one of their many water parks is idea. Kids will love splashing around in the water and enjoying one of the many water rides available. Aqualand Water Park is located 10 minutes from the town centre and another one is called Aqua Velis Water Park which is one of the largest in the region. So make sure you head down to a Water Park when you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed!

Theme Park

Malaga also has a lot of theme parks. Like the Southview Leisure Parks, they range from having some scary rides to something quieter such as wildlife safari adventures and marine park shows. If you’re looking for something different then you can also find theme parks that offer aquariums, a day of abseiling and even rock climbing! So much to offer children, they will be spoilt for choice! Theme parks such as Trivoli World Amusement Park, Benalmadena Seal Life Centre and Selwo Marina are all but a short driving distance of Malaga and even if you don’t have a car the transport connections are great, so you need not worry!

So as you can see Malaga has a lot to offer to keep families busy and with the gorgeous weather on top of it all, what more could you ask for. There is something for everyone that’s why Malaga is a great holiday destination.
